CASE STUDY

GROUP (40%)
TASK

In a group of five, the task involves researching environmentally certified green buildings accredited by organizations like GBI, LEED, or BREEAM. The focus is on analyzing the environmental strategies of one chosen building through a case study, possibly including a site visit. The findings will be presented on an A1 poster, emphasizing the environmental strategies and achievements of the selected building and produce a 1-minute video summarizing the key findings and insights from the case study for social media sharing.

The Process

The case study selected for analysis is The Malaysian Institude of Architects' (PAM) Centre situated in Bangsar. Prior to conducting a site visit, a brief research was conducted to explore the building's green design strategies. During the visit, information was gathered and inquiries were addressed. Extensive photos and videos were captured by every group member to support the creation of both the poster and video presentation.
